I’m John R. Saunders, founder of Epic Day Cinema and your lead videographer. My career in film and media spans over two decades, beginning in 2000 when I worked as a cameraman on BBC documentaries—including one on pioneering maggot therapy.

Since then, I’ve produced corporate films for major names such as Bovis Lend Lease, created pop videos for record labels, created short films that have been screened at the British Film Institute (BFI), and had my work featured in national newspapers.

Epic Day Cinema brings all of that experience into one focus: telling wedding stories with cinematic quality, emotional depth, and a seamless, stress-free process. I believe the best films don’t just document—they capture the feeling of the day, so you can relive it for a lifetime.
